This trailer is beautifully designed, very well made, EASY to assemble, and works great. My 13 year old, arthritic 65 pound mutt who is generally pretty cautious, climbs right in without hesitation. I tow it behind my ebike, and now my younger athletic dog can run along side as I tow the older dog to the park. I plan to use it in some local open spaces with wide dirt/gravel roads/paths that are reasonably smooth, but my hunch is that the tires at low pressure will smooth the ride sufficiently. I let the older dog out at the nice places along the way to explore and he LOVES it. The material is heavy duty, as is the frame and attachment bridle. It even has a small side pouch for a leash or treats etc. I could not be happier with this thing!
The bottom could be more solid, quality feels pretty cheap but held my 80lb dog inside it ok. Easy to use and attach, transporting took some getting used to, but it does that fine too. Overall functionality is ok.
The unit is great, but our dog does not like it😱
My dogs after a little training trips in the yard were delighted to come for a ride.
First and foremost, the bad. It came with a smell of PVC that was unbearable. I left it outside for a week and it still was too strong. Another week and it was good. Probably at risk for cancer now, but we ball. Other than that, it’s great! It has a nice rigid bottom my dogs enjoy. It can be a bit narrow to have two dogs look out the front, but they enjoy the ride anyways. I have a 26 pound dog at 23 inches at the shoulder, about the size of a beagle. The other is a 7 pound yorkie.
